I’ve seen reviews that people didn’t like this book that much because it felt slower and forced, but I actually liked it the most so far. I’m starting to understand the love for the series.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

I’m really glad I read The Assassin’s Blade before this one because there were definitely allusions to the novellas. I don’t know how people read these first few books without knowing the backstories, because I’m pretty sure it was released after the second or third book.
